Facebook decided to suspend Donald J. Trump’s account for 2 years.


According to politico.com, “Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president of global affairs, said the decision was not based on “which side of the political aisle is going to agree or disagree more with us.”

Based on David Cohen, “Defending Facebook’s latest ruling on the former president, executive Nick Clegg said Sunday that the two-year suspension of Donald Trump reflected improved processes.”

“”Our job is not to take the decisions with an eye to, you know, which side of the political aisle is going to agree or disagree more with us, but just to do so in a way that is fair, transparent and proportionate,” said Clegg, Facebook’s vice president of global affairs.”
